On September 10, before the sun rose, the party members' service team, assistant counselors and young volunteers arrived early at the welcome point to begin tense and orderly preparations.

In accordance with relevant requirements of the school, what made this year’s registration so special was that all the procedures would be completed by the students themselves. Based on the advantages of the discipline, the whole process was broadcast by the school in real time and parents were also invited to participate online!

On the afternoon of the 10th, leaders of Southwest Jiaotong University, including Party Committee Secretary Wang Shunhong and President Yang Dan, as well as Party Committee Secretary Feng Junhuan, Dean Hao Li, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Ma Qiong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Dai Qi, Vice Dean Yang Yan and other leaders of the School of Information Science and Technology came to the welcome point to learn about the situation. The leaders of SWJTU also highly praised the orderly and efficient implementation of the welcome works, and considered the online live broadcast was “creative and warm”.

On September 11, the number of people registered has decreased significantly, but the enthusiasm of the students at welcome point has not diminished.
