Outline of the Talk:

Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are among the oldest deep neural-network architectures,

and have enjoyed great popularity as a means for image classification,

object recognition, and speech recognition. This talk will revisit the basic principle of CNN, architectures, layers, convolution map, and the application to object recognition.
