Wenfang Zhang received her B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Southwest Jiaotong University in Communication Engineering, Communication and Information Systmem in 2001 and 2007, respectively. She joined Southwest Jiaotong University in 2007, and has been working in School of Infromation Science and Technology till now, where she is currently an associate professor. As a visiting scholar, Prof. Zhang was studying in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute, part of the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) from September, 2014 to September, 2015. She has authored and co-authored over 60 papers in international journals and international conference proceedings. Prof. has taken charge of several high-level research projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant No.61003245), Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities (Grant No.SWJTU12CX099, SWJTU09BR110) and Foundation Sciences of Southwest Jiaotong University (Grant No.2007Q135). In addition, she has participanted in several other national research projects. Prof. Zhang is a reviewer for several academic journals, such as Security and Communication Networks, Telecommunication Systems, International Journal of Ad Hoc and Ubiquitous Computing, Acta Electronica Sinica, and Journal of Computer Research and Development.
